Roong Reuang Coach has big comfortable air-conditioned busses to Pattaya. Leaving almost every hour between 6am-9pm. The exit bus station is located on North Pattaya Road. The journey takes about two hours thirty minutes if traffic conditions are favorable but longer when they aren’t! Fare price is 119 THB at the ticket counters. Check up to date schedule and book tickets in advance for a small fee.

There are also minivan services which are more frequent and depart every 15 minutes from 04:30 to 21:00 for 130 baht.

Ekkamai Bus Station to Hua Hin

The bus journey between Bangkok and Hua Hin are mostly done from Bangkok Southern bus station. But can also be made from Ekkamai Bus Station. From here it takes about 4 hours, with hourly minivans starting from 5am to 7pm.

Ekkamai Bus Station to Trat, Koh Chang / to Koh Kood piers

There are a couple of direct buses that goes straight to Koh Chang every morning, the total journey takes about 6 hours. Buses from Ekkamai bus station to Trat leave on a more frequent schedule between 5am-11pm. From the bus station in Trat you can get a Songthaew to the to the ferry piers towards Koh Chang, Koh Maak or Koh Kood.

Buses leave Ekkamai Bus Station every 40 minutes from 5:30am to 9pm. The total journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 200 THB. From Eastern Bus Terminal there are also hourly minivans from to Chonburi that leave from 6am to 8pm, taking two hours, costing less then 100 THB.

The popular Ekkamai Bus Station in Bangkok is a hub for buses traveling throughout the eastern region of Thailand. The station is located on Sukhumvit Road Soi 63. The Ekkamai BTS Station is close to the terminal, making it easy for people to arrive on the Sukhumvit BTS Skytrain Line.

Taking a taxi from BKK to Eastern Bus Terminal should cost around 350 (tollway fee included) THB and take at least 30 minutes. During rush hour around 7.30am-9.30am and 5pm-7.30pm you have to add 20 minutes to the ride.

The cheapest way to get from Suvarnabhumi Airport into Ekkamai Bus Station is taking the Airport Rail Link and then catch a Skytrain. Travelers will have to exit at Phaya Thai ARL station and buy a new ticket at BTS station Phaya Thai a couple minutes walk away. Then get on the train towards Ekkamai BTS Station where the bus terminal is located. Total travel time is around 60 minutes and costs around 100 THB.

Taking a taxi from DMK to Bangkok Eastern Bus Terminal should cost around 300 THB and take at least 40 minutes. During rush hour around 7.30am-9.30am and 5pm-7.30pm you have to add 20 minutes to the ride.

There are a new Skytrain line from Don Mueang International Airport to the new Bang Sue Grand Station (MRT and train station). But getting to Ekkamai Bus Station require to change line 2 times so it is a bit of a hassle. But it is cheaper then taxi. Cost is a little more then 100 THB. Takes more then 1 hour.

Another option is to take the A1 Bangkok bus from DMK to Mo Chit BTS station. From there take the train to Ekkamai BTS Station. Travel time is a little more then 1 hour. And cost less then 100 THB.
